Insanity :)

So, about a month for now I will know if I am as insane as I think I am! I will be returning to school this spring (starts the 22nd) and I am working about 30 hours a week and I am a mommy to an amazing 4 month old. I love being in school and for the 1st time ever it is completely covered by financial aid (even my books and parking permit)! I have always paid out of pocket, so the relief I felt when I saw that grants were going to cover everything was incredible.

I was recently promoted to be the manager of a new after-school program for children/teens with disabilities. We opened last week and so far it has been a lot of fun. When I returned to work in November I only went back part-time and worked in the other after-school program in Fairport. I only work 3.5-5 hours a day, which has made it so much easier to return to work. I was dreading going back full-time.

Thankfully my dad and my sister have been watching Lily for me while I work so she does not have to go to daycare (we couldn't afford daycare if we wanted to). She is doing well there- the 1st month was hard because she cried a lot, but she is begining to get used to being away from me. She is still quite a mommy's girl. She has recently started reaching up for me to pick her up when I get home from work. It melts my heart every time.

She had her 4 month appt last week- she was 15lbs 2oz and 25 1/4 inches! She has doubled her birth weight!!!

For my birthday my family bought me a new camera- a Nikon D40x! I am so thrilled to learn to use all of its features and to start buying accesories (flashes, lenses, filters, etc).

I don't think 5 years ago I would have believed that I would be celebrating my 23rd birthday with my husband and daughter! Everything has changed so fast. Lily is sitting in her exercauser (thanks again bethany!!) squealing as she tries to attack the dragon on it and I am just amazed that 4 months ago she couldn't even hold her head up or stay awake for more than an hour. Amazing.
