I haven't been this angry in a while...

I just got off the phone with Ryan...and he just told me that my sister was fired today. I am close to tears. My entire family works for the same company- my sisters and I have grown up with the company, we used to spend holidays there when we were kids. My sister absolutely loves her job. Her work is a part of who she is.

I guess yesterday they had her sign a form saying she would cover her tatoos and take out her tongue ring (per agency policy) and that she would not 'be rude to soandso'. My sister is strong in her opinions and stands up for the residents at every opportunity, but I guess she stepped on some toes and pissed some people off. There were some things going on that were not right at the site that she worked she insisted they be taking care of and I have a feeling that she was fired due to how much she insisted it be taken care of.

Anyway, today they pulled her into the office and her manager came out crying. When she went into the meeting she was told she was being fired. She's been crying for hours and cannot even talk. My parents are HIGHLY respected within the company. Both are ready to quit. If I could afford to and didn't love my job so much I would quit today. It makes no sense, I mean they just promoted her to assistant manager a month ago!I just want to cry for her
